TxDOT is showing Interstate 10, just 10 minutes north of Boerne, is covered with ice through Comfort, Kerrville, and Junction. The ice on Interstate 10 goes all the way to Fort Stockton. Boerne communications director Chris Shadrock gave an update on the weather conditions in Boerne on February 1. "Roads are just wet, luckily it's been so warm that the ground is keeping the roads pretty passable right now," he said in a social media video. "Bridges and overpasses are the main areas of concern that we are worried about in terms of travelers.
