Kyle, Texas, recently hosted the "Gathering of the Kyles" in an attempt to break the record for the most people with the same first name together at the same time in the same place. Their promotional video almost makes me wish my name was Kyle so I could have gone. Because my name isn't Kyle, only 1,490 Kyles descended on the city. A spokesperson for the city of Kyle said, "We are so grateful to the hundreds of Kyles that attended the Kyle Fair A Tex-Travaganza to participate in this world record attempt.
