Bad news, Kyles — the fourth time wasn't the charm. There weren't enough people named Kyle at the Central Texas city of Kyle's 'Gathering of Kyles' to break the record for the world's largest same-name gathering. This weekend was the town's fourth attempt at making history, and the event took place during its inaugural Kyle Fair. On Sunday, 1,490 Kyles gathered in hopes of beating the record. Kyles from all over answered the call, with representation from 49 states as well as attendees from Canada, according to the city.
