Hays County Commissioners Court declares July Park and Recreation Month — The Hays County Parks Department is being recognized for its contributions to the county's health and wellness. During its June 20 meeting, the commissioners court passed a proclamation recognizing parks and recreation as an integral part of the community and declaring July as Park and Recreation Month, according to a news release.
